The colorful and addictive French-Tunisian inspired cuisine at Got Kosher? Café & Bakery reflects the heritage of engaging owner Alain Cohen.
Born in Tunisia and raised in Paris, France, Alain worked in his father’s landmark French-Tunisian kosher restaurant, Les Ailes (The Wings) from the age of nine, where he later enriched the menu with a contemporary, more refined Parisian note.
Alain continues to spread the word about spirited kosher cuisine in Los Angeles at Got Kosher? Café & Bakery, where a rotating menu of authentic French-Tunisian and Parisian fare plus delicacies rarely found outside of Paris are offered.
The newly remodeled restaurant celebrated its first anniversary in March, 2013. Alain’s award-winning signature thin-crust pretzel challahs created a citywide buzz crowned by being awarded the title of best Challah of LA by the Jewish Journal and the best non-traditional challah by the Los Angeles Magazine.
